Booking lessons with MSM

These are the terms your lessons are booked under. Nothing here is unusual for a driving school, but two things catch people out more than the rest: bring your provisional licence to the first lesson, and give us 24 hours if you need to cancel.

Before you pay online

We advise all clients to speak with us by email or telephone communication before making an online payment in the first instance.

Please telephone or email our driving school if you have not received a response from us, or if for any reason we have been unable to make contact with you, within 5 working days of making your online payment.

Changes to booked lessons

We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to immovable traffic.

Lessons will be conveyed verbally or by text message in detail before making any lesson booking. Lessons will also appear in the app diary where it has been downloaded by the client.

Cancellations

At least 24 hours notice is requested to cancel pre-booked driving lessons, or you may be required to pay for late cancellations.

Diary availability cannot be guaranteed after one month of inactivity.

Gift vouchers

Payments for gift vouchers expire after 12 months, but can be extended if requested within the time limit.

Driving tests

Before booking practical driving tests, an ADI reference number will be supplied to confirm the readiness of the student's ability for test and for use of the driving school vehicles.

Test readiness must be by mutual agreement for test dates booked.

Your licence and eyesight check

A valid UK provisional licence or equivalent must be presented on the first lesson, and an eyesight check will be carried out.

Only after sight of a valid licence confirming entitlement to drive, and a satisfactory eyesight check, can lessons commence.

If either of these requirements cannot be met on the first lesson then the lesson fee cannot be refunded. It is the responsibility of the pupil to check that these initial requirements can be met.
