Driving Lessons in Warrington — calm, patient, at your pace.
MSM Driving Academy has been teaching local learners for over 20 years — manual or automatic, with a female instructor available for automatics.

Meet your instructor
Calm lessons, explained properly, paced around you.
Mark was a qualified schoolteacher before he was a driving instructor, and it shows in how the lessons run. MSM has been teaching people to drive around Warrington for over twenty years. In that time the cars have changed and the test has changed — but what decides whether someone passes hasn't. It's whether they feel calm enough to think.
Lessons are clearly explained and never rushed to make progress look faster than it is. Stall at a junction and nothing happens: you restart, you carry on, and you've learned something. First-timers, anxious learners, and neurodiverse learners including autism and ADHD are all genuinely welcome.

Mark is the best driving instructor I have ever had. I have been trying for a very long time to pass my test and Mark made it very simple and easy in a short amount of time of knowing him. At the age of 33 now I have passed my test first time because of Mark. 10/10 all round, would highly recommend.
I had a great experience learning with Mark. He's very patient and knows exactly how to build your confidence on the road step by step. His explanations are clear, and he focuses on correcting mistakes properly rather than rushing through lessons. Thanks to his guidance and support, I was able to pass my driving test.
I passed my driving test first time with Louise at MSM Driving Academy, and I couldn't be happier! Louise was such a calm, patient, and encouraging instructor who made me feel confident behind the wheel from day one. Her clear explanations and supportive teaching style made learning to drive enjoyable and stress-free.

Questions people ask before they book
How much are driving lessons?
Every lesson type and its price is listed on the prices page — no need to ring round to find out what it costs.
Do you teach manual or automatic?
I'm really nervous about starting. Is that a problem?
Not remotely, and you'd be surprised how many people open with exactly that. Lessons go at your pace, first sessions often start somewhere quiet, and nobody is thrown into traffic on day one. There's more on how Mark works.
Do you teach neurodiverse learners?
Yes. Mark has real experience teaching autistic learners and learners with ADHD. Mention it when you book — it helps him explain things in the way that works best for you.
Can I request a female instructor?
Yes, and you don't need to explain why. Louise teaches with MSM and takes automatic lessons. She works part time, so her diary fills up — ask as early as you can. Manual lessons are taught by Mark.
What areas do you cover?
Warrington, with pick-ups from home, work or college. Widnes, Runcorn and further afield as one-offs, by arrangement.
